Algorithms are widely deployed in decision making that affects the course of our lives. While they promise to be more objective, fast, and accurate than human beings, it has recently become clear that they may also perpetuate or even exacerbate existing biases against minorities. The talks of the colloquium will explore the possibility and impossibility of algorithmic justice
